A Brave and Respected Woman

I came upon an article in the magazine yesterday..
it caught my attention my heart and my emotions...
sounds interesting rite..

This article is publish in one of the local magazine..
Its regarding parenting.. or in another words, its regarding kinship..

This young couple was happily married and the wife was fortunately expecting their 2nd Child..
Their first was a girl and the yet-to-born is a boy..
Some time before the delivery, the husband was assigned overseas to work,
and he wont be able to be present for their son's arrival.

The Woman face the facts and face the remaining journey with their daughter and other family member..
Congratulations, its a smooth delivery and they gave birth to a handsome looking boy..

Happy family for a few weeks i can say..
One day, they brought their children out for a fair..
The daddy will be in charge of the young toddler who is about 5 yrs old..
the mummy will then take complete care of the new-born...

As the baby is being breast fed, the mummy place him inside the sarong when he showed sign of hunger..
While breast feeding, the mummy can feel the movement of the baby who is in the sarong..
For a while, everything seems normal...

Till this moment when the mum feels that the movement is slowing down and eventualli no movement at all..
She immediately bring the boy out of the sarong..
and she was shocked to see that her boy is not normal..
not norm as how he is suppose to be... he is kinda turning pale...
At that moment, they were screaming for help and no one does anything...

A nurse who happens to pass by came upon to help..
She did CRP for the new-born while someone from the public called the ambulance..
by the time they rushed to the hospital, they lost the boy...
They lost their love who is not even a month old...

They were not able to bring the boy home from the hospital as the doctors need to examine and find the real cause of his death...
The devastated mum has no choice but to leave her boy in the hospital...

She was blamed for the death of the new-born..
People were pointing fingers at her claiming that she did not pay attention to the child's welfare..
Poor woman has to take all the bad comments and words when she lost her own child..
No one understands..
She is lucky, she has an understanding husband who didnt place the blame on her..
but she kinda believe what people are saying, she blames herself for the child's death...

They went back to pick up the little body..
report shows that the new-born died of a rare lung disease..
Not due to his mum..

Things slowly gets better and back to similar life like before..
They understand that the child has to return to God..

Year later, the wife is pregnant again... with a girl this time..
and again, the husband will not be by her side..
She is a brave woman.. she face is all by herself..

She receive a call from her elder daughter's teacher requesting to meet her.
The teacher expressed her concern towards her daughter...
as the young girl told the teacher that she will never wanna get married and never wan to have a child..
Cos she dont want to face what her mum is facing..
to loose her child like how her mum lost her brother..

sad to know of situations like that...
no one knows how to react...
i was tearing while reading this article.. alot of thoughts floating across my mind..
This is the sad fact of life..
we know that eventualli we will have to leave one another..
but for this case, its so unexpected and the impact is tremendous..
Its a new-born.. alot of hopes and dreams pinned on him..
yet he left so shortly after his arrival to the world..

I admire the mum who is strong to face the reality and to face the general people..
lucky she is fine..
people who cant accept might suffer from depression or other illnesses..
She won my respect completely..
May You Have a Happy Family from now and till forever.. =)
