Busy BuSy Weekend.. HapPY WeeKend

Had a busy weekend as usual...
busy wif enjoyin myself.. meetin up wif friends...

The main thg i wanna mention abt this weekend is my meetup wif my DEAREST friends...
the 2 of them i knew since Momo times...
with the rest..

but now.. i seldom get to see them...
for some reasons.. we parted...
and for some reasons... the bond seems to come back...

Gt a call frm Terence on Sat afternoon... askin where will i be in the nite...
the place will be Plush... and its also the place that we know one another...
(plush previously known as Momo)

He is keen.. and we decide to call and see if the others are available to join...
Edwin cant make it.. not in town.
Jeffrey papa and Eug went MIA... haiz...
the last is lanvince... the one that had been incontactable...

I called him and it took him some time to pick up...
hmmm.. finally HE AGREED...
he will be joinin terence to Plush... and at least.. I can get to meet the 2 of them...
The thg i mus do is to Hug the both of them...

I was there a little late.. cos waitin for gab to come and pick me up..
acc him for his late dinner (or supper)
We chat at Oh's Cafe for some time before heading in to meet the guys....
the feelin to describe is... EXCITED...

thats good.. he seem more mature and stable now...

Feljiejie Celebrated her Birthday at DragonFly last Friday... hee...
All of us went down earli to celebrate for her..
It had been so long since the last time i went to Dragonfly...
hmmmmm.....

I reached abt 945pm.. if at MOS and Zouk, this time on a friday nite, i will be expecting short queue and empty looking club..
but to mu surprise, DF isnt...

When i reach there, there isnt any queue.. so i tot its still earli..
but who knows...
Its freaking packed inside already..

I tried calling dajie and kim to know the exact location of the table, but to no avail..
lucky i called zen zen and he tells me that the table's location...
i have to SQUEEZE my way through to get to the table.. wah.. sianz...
as i observe, the crowd there is pretty mature.. or i shld say..... old..
By the look at it, they are like working adults either in their late twenties or earli thirties...
if there are even older ones, i am not surprised..

i saw this grp of ladies at one of the table near the middle bar..
seems that they are all in their earli thirties...
the thg that caught my sight is that... they are dancing and playin ard like wat we are doing...
they are having so much fun wif each other's company...
They are like cheering.. Hugging one another... dirty dancing and stuff... Wow...
I dun mind enjoyin life like them when i am in my thirties... *grinz*

Finally found the birthday ger at the table drinking...
together there are zen zen and the guys...
after which i saw pop and shaun... met a new friend call jimmy...
slowly one after the other arrived...
Huge grp... Had fun...

We left for Plush as its the pre-launch around 2....

had been freaking busy recentli wif my work.. haiz..
gonna scream to mabel again le..

CANNOT BREATH LE..
OVERLOAD!! lol..

but i admit that i am abit pyscothic la..
cos i feel great being busy.. and i love being overload at times..
=p.. dunno y also..
but this is how i feel satisfied...

I am already missing out quite a bit in life cos of the path i choose..
so no choice.. i have to get other form of satisfaction to fill my heart..

For the past year alot had happened and alot had changed...
the surrounding, the people and definitly myself..
hmmm.. i cant specifically say that the change is good or bad...
or i can say is since life is full of changes... then no choice.. accept the changes then...

Last weekend was both a fun and busy one...
had a fully occupied saturday and a great sunday...
gonna blog abt my wonderful sat once i receive all the pics..

as for my sunday... i spend the day with no one other than myself..
hide in a cafe with my lappy doin my work surfing the net...
MSN not logged on..
just the day to myself..
managed to complete quite a bit of wrk..
great feeling... at least i know that i am prepared for my upcomin week...

I am A Brave Ger... LOL

I say that i am a brave ger cos i have the courage to get my Mummy to cut my hair...
LOL...

she is proven to be bad in hair cutting and also clinically tested to destroy her models hair..
She had also been STRICTLY BANNED by my sis from cuttin of her hair..

LOL... now u guys can understand y i say i am a brave ger ba... =p

Dunno y i am in the kick to cut my fringe again on thurs night...
aft i met phoebe for dinner... i head straight home wif the kick of cuttint my hair arising..
Its late and in order to get my hair cut...
there is only 2 choice:
1. I do the cutting myself
2. Find someone else to do it
For choice 2, there are limited option.. cos oni a few of us is awake..
so... final choices of stylist are:
1. Mummy Tan
2. Jia Wen
3. Daddy Tan
haiz... no choice lor.. i choose mummy...

Lucky this cut is ok.. if not i also dunno how to face ppl.. Lucky oni fringe and lucky its bangs... (she keeps bangs also) she shld know how its like lor...

If its other style.. i cant imagine lor...

oh ya.. not to forgt.. my Dear Daddy had also prepared a backup plan for me if my mummy fails her mission (which is common la =P) Since its cutting of fringe and the style is bangs... then the simplest way to reduce any further destruction is to find a source of guide while cutting... and the source of guide he is referring to is a - BOWL..

Amazingly, i am nt hungry at all today.. dunno y...
had a bowl of fish soup for my lunch...

Had my golf lesson last night... Weee~~~
endless fun...
i stayed back wif deb for practice at the range until abt 945pm..
damn Shiok!! We are doing Better... LOL

WEnt to cannery for another site visiting with my client yesterday.
This time round, its Arena..
It had been opened since months back, but haven gt the chance to visit that place..

Arena
Nice ambience, nice staging..
They have an american band playing and singing everynight
i like the feeling the place gives, the platform sofa seats, the standing tables in front of the stage and also the decor and the layout of the main bar..
not bad.. nice place for event..

i have this feeling that we will have the chace to hold events there.. hopefully..

2 more hrs before i can head out of office.. will be meetin dajie for dinner..
=p hopefully can shop abit.. yeah!!

Club Lunar

as i stated in my previous post..
i am gonna go a mini summary abt my own feelin to Lunar..

They had their launch abt 2 weeks back...
this is the 1st time when non of my colleagues wanna go down.. LOL
previously when St James started, we went to the launch of almost ALL of the various venue.. this time round as the invite came a little late, non of us made our way down..

before goin down on sat for gab bdae, i had already heard of some comments frm fellow clubbers..
1. KInda like Dragonfly
2. more mature crowd
3. canto pop
4. for live band lovers

seems that this wont be the place that will attract me..
for a simple reason, i choose to dance; not sit n drink..
but places like this attracts me for another reason; will be a great place for networking events...

i am right afterall, i went straight up to the 2nd level where gab and the rest were..the whole feeling was different from the other clubs, or i can say, the feeling is different from Dragonfly..

they are definitly of the same kinda theme - Canto Pop + Live Band
but these 2 places gives a completely different feeling...

1. Enterance

Lunar has its enterance at the open space like the usual cannery layout..
a movable black counter, simple but nt grand..
DF has it inside the place itself, after entering from the glass doors..
nicer counter layout, more posh and better furnished..

1st impression counts, so i guess lunar kinda loose out this way..

2. Color theme+ Furniture

Back at DF, the setting is more of black wif some luminous lightings..
in Lunar its different.. red seats, orange light.. more of a traditional chinese setting.. the seats resemblance those that VD has now.. Huge arm chairs...

both places shares a common thg tat is, there are standing tables right in front of the stage.. not a bad idea; this is how the performer and his audience interact rite.. the oni diff is that DF has gt another bar counter behind the stage while lunar dont..

3. Servers

DF has gt the common type of servers, but frm past experience, the feedback tells that the servers and bouncers were RUDE, not friendly, not prompt.. hmmm...
this is some time back, haven been there for some time, there might be changes already..

Lunar has gt the ladies all dress in mini cheong sum wif red wig..
erm.. nice dress, shockin hair.. but not appealing at all..
abit overdoing.. this makes the place look more like a nightclub..
not very nice.. the most impt thg is... they are all china gers...
and they dont speak english...
i tried talking to them but they keep replyin in mandarin..
i dunno if all of them are like that or just that specific few that i met..
if all servers are like that.. OMG.. not a very nice thg..
Singapore is a multi racial country.. its alwaes better to speak in common languange..

hmmm.. these are what i can thk of at the moment.. lol..
will be goin to arena tmr for site visitin and plush will be doin its pre-launch this friday nite..
shall see wats interestin abt these 2 places..
nt forgttin, i am visitin DF again this friday... Hope its a great one.. =)

I Am Jus Too Tired

I am sick once again...
seems that my health haven been picking up like how i expected it to be..

finally dragged myself to the doctor...
managed to rush there aft my site visiting with my client...

Updates on wat happened over the weekend:

Had a busy weekend last week...
went to Zouk, MOS VD on friday nite ALONE!!
lol.. club hop.. MOS is gettin more n more boring and i am freakin disappointed with the crowd there... but nvm.. who cares... its the company that matters to me more... =p..

Sat was as busy.. rushed down to VD after a mini party wif some friends..
wanna attend the junior amb meeting... but.... seems that there isnt any lor.. hmmp
then i had a chat wif char and DM.. came to realise some facts... but nuttin surprising...

after which i rushed down to LUNAR..
this is where Gabriel celebrates his Birthday...
went wif Shir and Stephan...
its a new place.. gonna write abt how u feel abt that place in my next entry..

I AM AMAZED!!
Amazed by the amount of Cannons they can drink....
if i am nt wrong... its either 4 or 5 bottles of cannon martell lor..
no JOke..
All in 1 nite... lol...
he had all his close friends there... his biz partners, his long friends and some buddies...
not forgettin.. he also has us, me, dajie, rina, kor, aju, george kor, taka, jovi there... seems that most of us are from MNL... =)

the nite ended at abt 430 aft meetin kim... and she passed me a pooh(which is now standing in front of my lappy) that she bought for me frm HK..

gonna write abt club LUNAR... hmmmm
